Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 182 Recap

In Chapter 182, Charles takes a fighting position and prepares for the confrontation with Hakari. As his weapon, he pulls out a huge pen with a nib. “It was my goal to be an astronaut,” he says, “but it appears that it wasn’t meant to be.”

Charles wants to attack Hakari with the pen, but he gets to escape. When Hakari inquires about the importance of those specific lines, he is told that they are part of a poem written by Hoshino Katsura. According to Hakari, all manga artists make up their own stories in their imaginations. But  Charles, on the other hand, states that he had been immediately motivated to write fiction.

He admits to Hakari that he has lost his imagination and worries if the latter is going through the same thing. It’s a mangaka’s desperation, according to Charles. “Have you ever heard of someone using a pen to injure someone?” Hakari answers.

Charles pierces Hakari with a manga page. Even if he isn’t aware of it, something is stirring inside him. Charles explains to Hakari that his approach allows him to see into the future.
